My Mom received a letter in the mail stating that she was a winner of the 2009 NORTH AMERICAN SWEEPSTAKES LOTTERY held on MARCH 25TH 2009 IN THE 2ND CATEGORY! The check looks real and the bank on the check is also real, it is Harris Bank Roselle, IL - I know I called the bank! The account number is also real, but it is to a different company that has nothing to do with sweepstakes! Please do not cash the check no matter what they tell you!
They are trying to get you to commit a CRIME!
I am having my Mom file a report at the local Sheriff's Department, I recomend you do the same!
I know times are tough, and it is a shame that other people are taking advantage of that! Be safe, and pass the word!
