In his reply to a "second" letter to him from her, he writes, "I see no reason to change any of my answers." Ultimately the investigation concluded and the medpay was paid out. However, it is to be learned whether a separate UI policy relative to the accident can be use as a source of recovery. This adjuster possibly made an attempt to coerce Dr. Nicol to write something that would affect the outcome. I have been unable to get a reply from him about this to date although I have called, faxed, emailed, and written via US mail.
Replies from State Farm focus on everything except the question of her possible coercion. This is the same adjuster who refused to identify herself to a local auto repair shop owner and who hid her car (with her in it) behind a shop building roughly two miles from my home.
This is the same adjuster who mailed a plethora of medical documents of mine to a neighbors home. She had mailed items to an even separate neighbor before that. Upon protest, her manager, Brett Suitor, writes that he is "concerned you are not getting your mail." Well, no, not when you mail it to my neighbors. He ultimately forced her to write to me a letter of apology.
I have contacted the GA Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs and just got a letter from John Oxendine, GA Insurance Comm. that he had placed a special investigator on this matter.
Is this bad faith? It is certainly bad behavior.
