Then they had the nerve to tell me that they would get their lawyers if i told anyone this!!

They are very persuading and unprofessional and i spoke to stephen strother and he is sneaky and slick and i wont stop exposing them until i and whoever else they ripped off get what is owed to us by them.

The thing that's so bad is that it wasn'n even two full weeks before i contacted them and told them that i wouldn't be needed their services for the $429.00 so called "vip all access" pass that they sell on their website and i would keep they registration although i started to feel funny about them after i spoke with stephen due to his strange behavior and unprofessionalism, One thing he did that i thought was slick was showed me someone elses interview without their permission and i was thinking to myself "d**n well if this person/these people knew that he was doing this how would they feel about it and if it were me would he be doing this to me too"? Well Why not he's trying to convince you to spend that money!!!

Automatic turn off but they already had my money ,so day's went by and i decided that i didnt want to to go through with dealing with them and contacted them and that's when all these excuses came up with no justifications as to why i could'nt get my money back and so here we are i am telling the truth the clowns are fraud!!!!

His only excuse at the time i contacted him was "you might wanna check the refund/return policy because it's been a couple of days and things arent that simple"
I checked it and it said that the registration fee which i paid $139 for the platinum membership was non-refundable and that you have 21days to get a refund for all hook-ups workshops ect... which leads to the "vip all access" services that i purchased for $429.00 and is refundable. Now i contacted them on the 30th of november and i signed up on november 17th which is only 13days not 21days so tell me where i am not eligable for a refund....Thankyou!!

I don't believe the Rip-Off Report service was created for consumers to slander and defame other consumers and businesses. The service was created to allow consumers to have some recourse or voice when they have been taken advantage of. However, in this case, our company that is the victim of defamation and slander. Please read transcript details with customer's email and company responses from our customer service department, as well as listen to customer's own recorded testimonial on MP3 raving about our service. Fortunately, we treat all of our customers and business associates professionally and with respect, which is attributed to our 99% repeat customer rate. We've hosted more than 140 Hookups since Dec 03. Our customers, record company A&R and industry insiders return because our service is valuable and legitimate. We have an unedited MP3 recording of your volunteered testimonial and a copy of the demo review session you quoted below.

So how did we go from, in your words, great, captivating and motivating to the slander in your post? I believe the following reveals the truth of what transpired, which is not consistent with your post.

I'm really shocked that you actually put your fabricated comments in writing since there is an existing transcript of the truth and entire communication between us on our ticket system, including original tickets from you, a MP3 of your volunteered testimonial praising our service, and responses from our customer service department.

THE FACTS AND TRUTH

1. You purchased our VIP ALL ACCESS PASS Subscription on 11/17/04. Approximately two weeks later (Nov 29) you submitted a ticket requesting a refund because you said that you had bills to pay (see ticket 10648). We referred you to our refund policy and noted that your reason for a refund does not fall within our refund guidelines.

2. Per our web site agreement, http://www.armusic1.com/terms.php approved by the Better Business Bureau and consistent with paid content sites, all subscriptions are non-refundable.

3. You said that you paid $600 for our service. The VIP ALL ACCESS PASS is $429. In addition, the VIP ALL ACCESS PASS includes 7 record company A&R Hookups and listening sessions and saves more than $400 (50% off) for the repeat customer.

4. You've called our service a fraud. If you paid for our service and we did not deliver that would be fraud.

5. On Nov 30, 2004, you used your VIP ALL ACCESS PASS status to request to attend a Hookup. We responded on Nov 30, with your artist numbers and steps to attend. (See ticket# 10650)

6. You stated that we showed someone elses interview without their permission. Our company does not host or record private interviews. In response to your question about how our Hookups work, you were played a MP3 of excerpt of our demo listening and A&R feedback segment of our Music Industry Hookup with Scott Austin / A&R at Maverick Records, which is recorded in a public forum and can be streamed from our website. 7. You subscribed to our service and approximately two weeks demanded a refund, not because of our service or anything that we did to you, but simply because you got cold feet after thinking about it for two weeks and thought our service was possibly not legit. That's not justification for a refund and precisely why there are business agreements to protect the consumer in the event that the company does not deliver and to protect the company in the case where a customer reneges on their commitment. In retail it's called a return policy.

8. BELOW is an excerpt of your ticket (# 10659) sent on Dec 5, 2004. I believe this sums up the what happened and why your request did not meet our refund guidelines:

Dec 5, 2004, Submitted by Muhammad Shakir : Now the real reason i want a refund is because i never really meant to spend that much on something that i know nothing about i basically stumble upon your site and before i read everything thoroly started choosing options out of excitement and the next thing you know i ended up spending more than i needed to get the service i wanted. Next reality kicked in i got excited something we all do sometimes

This was no fraudulent activity. As a matter of fact when you decided to subscribe there was no one from our company talking with you or trying to sell you on our service as depicted in your post above. The dialog as you presented was fabricated. As stated in your ticket, you registered on your own.

9. You stated that you were treated unprofessionally and a victim of a rip-off.

Fortunately I did not erase your recorded testimonial that you volunteered on 11-5-04, approximately 12 days before you purchased the VIP ALL ACCESS PASS from our web site. Not only were you treated with respect, you were very excited about our Hookup program after listening to my streaming digital audio-book Breaking Into The Music Biz with Artist Management.
