When I went in to this location, not only did I not get the correct size drink with the value meal. I was charged $4.19 plus tax for a total of $4.44.
The cashier just rambled on about their drink prices being different. I told her it didn't matter because the $3.99 is for the MEAL. I have contacted the corporate office and will also contact local authorities. This is illegal what they are doing, because they have the $3.99 up on the wall on the poster!
It's definitely the principle of the thing, but I have had it and will pursue it until something is done.

Not all stores have the same pricing...
AUTHOR: Edgeman - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, January 30, 2009For whatever reason, this particular Subway charges a measly twenty cents more than other stores. I can't imagine that you're really that upset about it. How do you figure that this is an unfair business practice? They offer a product at a price. You can buy it or not.
You say that you will continue to pursue this until something is done... how much of your time are you going to devote to this (non) issue of twenty cents? At some point it will simply be unproductive to keep at it.

Pricing..
AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, January 30, 2009
POSTED: Friday, January 30, 2009The value meal is priced on the menu with a certain size drink. If you get a bigger drink you are charged extra for this "upsell".
You even stated you didn't get the right size drink, which would seem to confirm this. Most likey you either asked for a specific size drink, or they misunderstood what size you wanted. Since it was a larger drink than was included in the value meal price they charged you the difference, and a difference of $0.20 sounds about normal.
