Safe Home Security Inc. installed an alarm in my home. Soon after we began having problems with our home phone. We often had no dial tone at all. I had the phone company out and they told me that the alarm system was the problem. SHS came out and said it was the phone companys problem. Once again the phone company came out and said it was the alarm system. They also would not come out again without charging me since the were now 200% sure it was SHS!

SHS came out multiple times, each time they told me it was not thier system and it had to be the phone. At this point I had had it. Missing work to get this all strait was costing me money. Not having my home phone working is a danger in it self. I have teenagers at home I need to keep track of.

What if I needed to dial 911? I had the wires to the alarm cut. My home phone worked with no problems from then on.

By the time all of this happend my cancelation time had lapsed. I called SHS and asked them to remove the system from my home. I no longer wanted them in my home to try and fix anything because they already proved to me their eqiupment was defective and they did not have the ability to fix it. They refused to talk to me. They would not return my calls time and time again. I stopped payment to them. I did not have a functioning alarm as they were unable to fix it. They are now billing me for over $1000 and are going to take me to court for it.

I understand the CT Attorney General has a lawsuit against SHS for these problems and more. I would like to warn others not to use this shady home security company. They may get my money in court, but if I can help it, fewer people will use them.
If any one can help my situation let me know.
