In December 2008 Safe-Touch installed a Security system in my home and I paid in full for Three years of service.

In July/ August 2011 the system began to fail and sent erroneous signals where by Safe-touch disabled the monitoring until it could be repaired.  Around October/ November a Safe-touch service tech installed a Voice over IP Modem after I notified Safe-ouch that my land line was being disconnected.  The Technician was unable to repair the system and disconnected it stating that another service tech would be scheduled to repair the system. 

At the end of December ( what I though was the end of my contract)I called Safe-touch and told them that the system still was not working and that I no longer wanted the broken system in my home. Safe-touch acknowledged my concern, and I assumed that was the end of my obligation.

 In January I again called Safe-touch and asked if they were going to remove the system and they stated that in order to remove the system I would have to send them a written request.  I e-mailed them a request and cancellation notice and did not hear from them until March of 2012 when I received a billing for monitoring services (Jan 2012 through Feb 2012).

I called Safe-touch and asked what the billing was for that I was told that I would continue to receive billing until I was current on my account?  I asked them what I owed and they stated that they would send me a current bill.  The next bill I received was for the next months monitoring? I again called Safe-touch and they said that I had not cancelled my agreement and that I would have to speak to their contracts department and they tried to transferred me, but no one picked up.

I have been receiving monthly billings ever since and have not been able to connect with their Contracts Department.  I just received two collection notices one for $ 213.00 on November 9, 2012 and another one from a different collection agency for $1,156.11 on November 13, 2012.

Apparently Safe-Touch is running a scam of some sorts that cannot be stopped.
