Sage Real Estate Services dba Mid-America Appraisals Very Very Incomplete Appraisals with comparables many miles away and in different county. Very ugly attitude and demeanor. LAZY springfield, Missouri

My wife and I are refinancing her home home.  When Skip Sage showed up to do the appraisal he was very grumpy and borderline rude (was a hot day, maybe he couldn't handle the daily temperatures at 100 degrees).  He began by telling my wife "she can leave".  Then sarted to badmouth our home and and even made the remark that he couldn't understand why they would waste money building it with thermopane windows. This is a home with value in excess of 300k.  It is rural property with few comparables so would take some "effort" toget an accurate appraisal. 

A home sold with similar land less than 1 mile away but he refused to listen to us on that and refused to use it as part of the appraisal.  He did choose to use properties over 10 miles away and 1 or more of them in Webster county, our home is in Greene and the property values are certainly higher in Greene county than rural Webster. Was very indignant when we tried to ask him about this.   If you are doing any home financing and see Sage Appraisals or Mid-America Appraisals assigned to your property you'll do yourself a major favor to ask for a different appraiser.  Respond to this complain if you would more detail.   BEWARE!
