Saint Matthew's Churches Prayers By Letters ripoff Tulsa Oklahoma

I received a letter today from this organization with the envelope to be returned the next day or my prayers would not be answered. Of course, it wanted a seed of faith...go figure? It contained a picture of "Jesus" with his eyes closed, but if you look at it long enough his eyes would slowly open, then you could begin to pray for your needs( sounds a bit like brainwashing to me) and called it a prayer rug. you are to kneel on it and pray then place it under your side of the bed every night and then immediately mail it back the next day{with your seed of faith) postage paid of course, so they could send the same letter(which they also requested be returned along with the prayer rug) to the next needy family, mine being the first of two. I got on the internet and entered the name of Saint Matthews church of Tulsa Ok. and pulled up your site. Amazing!! My advice to any one who receives any kind of letter like this: pull up the name and address( of course they usually give a P.O. box, which you can't locate),file a report, then throw the letter away, not your money!!! God doesn't need money, he can't spend it. As I was told growing up: God Helps Those Who Help Themselves. These organizations pray on lost souls, not the ones who have found God, because God's people know that He will help you when you can no longer do it yourself...desperation is the devils' tool.
