Recently I filed a claim because a month ago we had an ice storm that knocked tree branches on top of the roof of our house & when we sat in our back bedroom we felt wind coming from the roof. We filed a claim we had two roofers one was not legit which we did not know at the time. They did not even bother to show up but mail us an estimate stating for two roofs it would cost $3,800. We submitted to Saint Paul Travelers talked a rude smart mouth adjuster who did not know what he was doing & called AAA roofing first he claimed he didn't know why he wrote the estimate it would only cost $100 to fix the roof which is impossible so we decided to go to another one who claimed he was rectible but our insurance adjuster pulled a fast one & convinced him to say he did not also know why he wrote the estimate. He pointed out to me & my husband that the roof was not properly fixed when the old owners supposidly changed the roof but when Norman Brand which is Travelers so called insurance adjuster does not know his hand from his back butt convinced G.R Smith Roofing Company that he made a hasty discovery. But yet my husband's computer was damaged by water he needed this special computer because he's visually impaired needs a special software that will read the screen & let him know what he is typing & his software that he needs costs $1700 plus he just updated all his software for 2007. And now it's all lost he had to turn around & by a new computer system but couldn't afford his specialty software. Norman Brand claimed he needed a statement from a computer tech stating it was weather damage but he did not want a written statement he wanted the tech to call him. Our best guess is he wanted to bully him to say it wasn't damaged. St. Paul Travelers is rude to there customers & we don't pay monthly we pay yearly in advance & this is how they treat there customers. I am getting away from Travelers & I stress whoever is with Travelers or who's thinking about going to Travelers think again.
