Sallie Mae & Allentown Business School Student Loans and no education, Internet

A few years ago I wanted to work with at risk youth. I applied to Allentown Business School and was quickly accepted and rushed through the loan process. I knew that I wasn't going to make tons of money but that kind of work had a way of being a different kind of rewarding. After 2 semesters there I realized that it wasn't the school for me. The way they taught, the way they quickly run me out of the offices if I had questions about my loans. The whole thing was a nightmare. After I withdrew the school actually ended up closing for much of the same reasons.

They really hurt a lot of people with their student loan process and many of my former classmates are struggling to live happy productive lives. Sallie Mae told me on many occasions that if "all I could pay" way 150 a month that I might as well not pay anything because that didn't even cover the more than 13% interest rate on my loans and if it went to collections they would work with me. So I took their advice and allowed that to happen. Now I'm 55 grand in debt and still they want more than 350 dollars a month or nothing. I understand that Sallie Mae is a business and are in business to make money but their ethics are terrible and they have ruined mine and countless other lives.
