SRP since 2010, I've noticed, lies about meter readings. Not bad, it seemed, at first. But then
went the Smart meter came out, things changed.
In 2010 I was one of the early birds. What bothered me at the beginning, was when the meter was switched out, I realized I didn't get a read and called SRP a couple of weeks later to get the beginning read. They estimated it at something like 888 or 222, something similar.
It was a false reading of course, and I was somewhat frustrated and disturbed. I later noticed a lot of other problems with the Smart Meter, and being someone who doesn't watch TV for most of my life, and is a bit extreme, I guess I had nothing better to do than investigate. I knew I could cheat, that wasn't my goal. I wanted to feel that my heart was in good hands. Of course, I knew it wasn't. That's no different for you.
You have to fight when someone has got you buy your ***** so to speak. I wanted to fight it my way fairly, and they would have no part in that. Actual meter reads were rejected.
Every month, meter reads never happened. They were all estimates, and almost every bill stated that on the bill!. KWH usage was often as much as doubled from actual! Every month! When I called, they stated it was an actual meter read, even though it wasn't.
I am not kidding. I have not edited anything and the photos are still on my camera. I don't use a cell phone, TV, or other items, but use a camera for situations like this.
I've spent months and have emails probating all of this and they ignore me.
People, this needs to change! We get power outages all of the time, so looks like the monthly billions they bring in are NOT going to improve service. We need to stop letting people get too
powerful by sticking a hook in our ******.
