Salute Visa Gold Credit Card Fraud Newark New Jersey

I was recently sent a letter from My Salute Visa regarding my credit card account. I was divorced a few years ago and am trying to rebuild my credit. I found this company and paid the exorbitant fees associated with getting this card in order to try rebuilding my credit. I have always paid every payment on time. My initial credit limit has more than doubled since getting this card because I have been very careful to pay all payments on time as well as paying more than the minimum payment due.

A couple of months ago, I was charged $100.00 for my "yearly fee". Now all of a sudden, the account has been canceled. I believe the company should refund the yearly fee since they closed the account. I have paid so many fees to get this card opened and now I am out all that money as well as this latest "yearly fee". They graciously raised my limit to accomodate the fee, but now they are not being quite so "gracious" by closing the account.

I can't help but wonder if they knew ahead of time about these accounts being closed when they charged all of us with these yearly fees. Just seems fishy to me. I think there should be a class action suit started on our behalf to recover these fees we have paid this company to try an rebuild our credit. Now we are just left with a big bill to pay back and no credit card.
