Salute Visa - Urban Trust Bank FSB Fraud, Conspiracy, Unlawful Account Charges, Dishonored Cardholder Agreement Atlanta Georgia

On October 24th, 2008, I attempted to use my Salute Credit Card, which had over $600 available on my card at Wal-Mart and the charge was denied. My account was and is currently in good standing. After investigating the matter, I was told that the Company made a "Managerial Decision" to discontinue all of their accounts (which is thousands of customers).

I was shocked and disgusted that Salute made this decision and did not inform me officially, in writing until January 2009. The Company has not lived up to its legal obligations under the Cardholder Agreement. I have met all of my obligations under the Cardholder Agreement. The major problem is that the company is not providing me or any other customers with any service whatsoever, other that continuing to deduct money from my checking account to pay their interest, which they increased after they canceled all accounts.

Salute is also Charging Monthly Account fees ranging from $7-$20 for account maintenance fees although they are not maintaining any accounts. Upon reading my cardholder agreement I realized salute has violated this contract in many ways, so therefore it is unlawful to charge the absorbatent fees and interest when they have discontinued all card services (and when you call them they admit this and announce it in their prompts).
