I opened a salute visa credit card 03/2008. I have had no problems with them until this month 08/2008. I made my payment online like I do every month. I had closed my old checking account.

I did not have any problems last month when I made my payment know salute Is charging me excessive fees. My credit limit Is $300 know due to the fees It Is $393.

I have made a complaint to the governor'd office of consumer affairs credit card companies usually do the right then when you complain to the, attorney general office .

But the governor's office of consumer affairs handl's complaints where salute operates In the state of georgia. But we shouldn't have to make a complaint to get credit card companies to waive fees If things aren't your fault.

This Is salute's fault they used my old checking account information I did not have any problems last month when I made my payment salute Is trying to screw with me & my credit.

I will update this report after I hear from the governor's office of consumer affairs.

I have received notice know that salute has cancelled my card. I have always paid my payments ontime & I am In good standing. Its a scam tribute & salute have going.

These cards they have to help peoples credit are nothing but frauds. I would like to know why discontinued the salute card. But then they told me In the letter they will continue to charge the $6 account maintence fee.

Here we go again

I am never going to open none of these cards again. I received a letter today that salute visa closed my account. A good standing custormer I always paid my payments ontime.

Then they stab you In the back for being a good custormer. Salute Is closing everyones account. Salute & tribute are nothing but scams.

But you have to continue paying your balance. I opened this card 03/2008. Not even a year I had this card know they close It. But I have to keep paying or they will ruin my credit.

These cards they have to help rebuild peoples credit are nothing but scams. Then they close your account when they get enough of your money.

Frauds.

Customer service won't waive anything but if you can get to the collection department they will usually waive anything if you make a payment by phone with them. I worked there for almost 3 years.

Salute has resolved the issues I raised In my complaint. Salute refunded me all fees & reopend my account & granted me my first credit line increase of $100.

I didn't even have to make a complaint to the office of thift supervision, I complained to the better business bureau & It was resolved within 30 days.

Rip-off report does make a difference I don't care or believe from these other crooked business who say bad things about rip-off report & accusing them of writing false reporting & extorting money.

This Is a lie If I ever heard one but I would like to warn people salute will play tricks on you & other people might not have luck In resolving complaints like I did.

Well I paid my payments ontime for 6 months. I did what I was suppose to do so I deserve a credit line increase.

But still I should not had been put threw this. At least I had 1 good thing work for me this year.

Salute wrongfully closed my account for no reason. I paid my payment ontime for the past 6 months.

They charged me excessive fees my credit limit was $300. Know It Is $399 & they closed my account after charging me two late fees for $35, total $70.

They also charged me 1 over limit fee of $35 & a return check fee of $35. All fees total $140, & the monthly maintance fee of $6.00.

I do not know what happen I used the correct checking account, know salute closed my account screwing me out of a credit line increase.

I would not recommend salute to anyone. Tribute mastercard treated me better then salute did. I did get a creditline increase with tribute!.

But salute screwed my account up.

Avoid salute visa

Salute visa screwed me. My account had been open for 6 months, I had no problems I paid my payments ontime.

Salute screwed me out of a credit line increase, I paid my payment ontime on 08/07/2008. I used the right checking account.

Salute can piss off they have angered the wrong person this time. I did what I was suppose do to I made my payments ontime for the last 6 months.

They just screwed because they didn't want to give me a credit line increase I am sorry I got this card.

Once I paid this account off I am never going to get a tribute or salute card or any kind of those credit cards again.

You have to pay $20 to activate anyways other legit credit card companies don't make you pay a fee before opening an account.

These two cards are nothing but scams!. But I have to pay them of or they will screw my credit & send me to collections.

I do not want my credit ruin due to these sorry people.

Salute Is getting horrible

I have had no problem's the last 5 month's In making my payment's to salute. Salute claim's I gave them the wrong checking account information.

I deleted my old checking account information last month when I made my july's payment. I did not have any problem's making my july's payment.

Know salute Is trying to take advantage of me buy trying to force me to pay $99 then they will waive the fee's I don't think so!. I paid my payment ontime I did my part & I will not pay them anymore.

It's sad what salute Is doing to people & they are getting away with It, charging these bogus fee's. I have made a complaint to the department of banking & to the georgia attorney general.

Salute Is not going to get away with trying to screw me saying I didn't pay my payment or I gave them the wrong checking account information.

I refused to let myself be screwed from them.
