I have had the card for a little over 6 months, made all my payments on time, even got an automatic balance increase last month because of my good payment history, and last week on 1/28/09, I sent in another payment and over the weekend went on line to see if pymt received. I could not get any information on my account, finally called last night 1/2/09, and told by the first CSR who could not speak english well that I have no account, when I requested a supervisor, I was given a floor supervisor who could not speak english well but informed me that management has cancelled my all Salute cards, and when I asked when were they going to tell me he stated a letter went out on the 30th, (have not received any letter), and when I asked about my recent payment he said "yeah, we got it, you owe it to us", when I asked for a further explanation as to why my card as well as others were cancelled he told me he does not have to give me a reason, but told me he expected me to pay down the remaining balance on card, even though it is cancelled and hung up. Someone need to do something about this.

- How can you afford a computer to perpetrate your fraud with if you have no money like you claim in the collection reports you pollute?
- How can you afford an internet connection to perpetrate your fraud if you allegedly have no money as you claim?
- How can you afford an attorney for all these alleged lawsuits you claim to be filing if you have no money like you claim?
- Why did you get a cellphone you knew you couldn't afford when you have no money as you claim?
- Why haven't you paid the people you have owed money to for a long time?
- How can you afford a vehicle to go out and cause accidents in if you allegedly have no money?
- How can you afford the exorbitant insurance from the accidents you cause in the vehicle you shouldn't be able to afford if you have no money as you claim in the collection report?

Salute Is now saying I closed the account salute Is shady

Salute Is know reporting on my credit files that I am the one who requested the account to be closed. Well I have their letter stating they have closed the account.
Lots of other people have complained about the samething, that salute Is reporting they have closed the account, why Is salute lying.
Salute did refund me $20 of account fees, but I don't appericate them lying on my credit report saying I requested the account to be closed.
I have made a complaint to the BBB, telling them I still have a copy of their letter saying they have closed the account. And they are reporting saying I requested the account to be closed.
Salute Is worse then plains commerce bank. It forein people run a company you can bet things are shady.

I still think its wrong for salute to leave people hanging. Here people are trying to build their credit, I still think this was a scam salute had going.
I still think this Is wrong to do people, tribute mastercard & salute had a great scam going. They leave people In the dust.
Then salute still makes people pay the $10 for a closed account, they still charge people $4.95 to pay online. And $6 account maintence fee.
We can't use the card anymore but they sure can take $10.
Salute Is getting $30 extra.
Salute said they would continue to charge those fees until the balance Is paid.
They are nothing but a bunch of crooks.

Here is why you should have to pay the fees even if they closed the account; BECAUSE YOU SIGNED UP FOR THE TRIP!
The best way to build credit is to:
1. Have a job and stay at it for over two years.
2. Pay your landlord or Mortgage company EARLY or ON TIME every single MONTH.
3. Stay out of debt...............especially credit card debt.
4. Save your money!
I got out of the debt trap. I have no credit cards. I have built up my credit history by staying away from credit cards. I own my house for the past 14 yrs and never had a late payment, not once, not ever. How? I put my mortagage first.
You signed up for the trip Charles, so yea, they have the right to say you owe us for what YOU CHARGED. "Universal defualt" gives them the right. It is better to lose the idea you NEED( you do not NEED credit cards) credit cards to live. In fact, if you stay away from credit cards you will end up with more money!
Did I like paying for my credit card debt? Of course not, but I took it out, so I paid if off with no complaints. Fees is how they stay in business. Next time Charles, stay away from credit card debt and your life will be much calmer!

Salute still charging fees

Salute Is still charging the $10 fee each month. $4.95 to pay online & $6.00 account fee. That Is $10 $120 a year they will still be getting from people along with the full balance that was left on the account.
Why should we have to continue to pay the fees after the account Is closed, this Is stealing from people.

after contacting Salute again about what they did, they had the nerve to send me a bill for payment and then when I call Tribute because they are the same company, and after going thru one CSR who again could not speak English and a Supervisor who was just as bad, they put a report on my credit file that I was $1.00 over my credit limit. If there is any decency in the world, or if anyone is not from the school of rewarding the wicked then I can only hope and pray that these people and these companies are stopped.

This helps nobody. People want to get back on track with there credit & to get credit. But how can people do this If these credit card companies keep discontinuing these programs.
Its just a trap they get people into. They you are forced to repay what you spent on the cards & they get extra money from you still buy charging the $4.95 payment fee & $6.00 account fee.
Salute Is trying to get has much money they can from people. But this Is doing people wrong who are trying to get there credit back on track & backstabbing people.

How can you have any credit card at all if you have no money like you claim in all the collection reports you crap in? Why haven't you paid the people you have owed money to for a long time?

Salute Is backstabbing people. They are closing peoples account & giving us no reason why they are closing the accounts.
This Is a trap that salute has set up & all these so call programs to help repair peoples credit, & then they close your account & you still have to repay the balance.
If people get mad @ them & don't pay It back then salute ruins your credit. Because all these credit repair scam programs are all closing peoples accounts.
And nobody knows what Is going on. They do not want to extend credit to you. The hell with salute & all these other fraud credit repair cards. They just want peoples money.
This Is a way to force people to pay off there balance. They are making lots of money off people doing this.
These foriens come into this country & have the nerve to steal our money & to take advantage leaving us with nothing.

I'm not waiting on the Consumer Cardholder's Bill Of Rights Act of 2008 to be voted on in the Senate. This latest outrage requires immediate action!
I have composed a petition to the Attorneys General of Georgia and Maryland urging an immediate investigation. Please sign this petition and pass it on to everyone that has been taken to the cleaners by these greedy, usurious corporate robber-barons.

Salute Is backstabbing people. Yes they do have to give a reason why they are closing everyones accounts. It was nothing but a scam tribute & salute. Only forein people run those two cards.
They are no americans working with salute or visa, they do this to trap people. Because If you don't pay your credit gets ruin.
These credit repair cards are nothing but scams, this Is also taking advantage of people who are trying to repair there credit then this Is how we get treated.
I suggest people pay off there balance, because salute wants to ruin your good credit. I call this backstabbing you.
Compuserve owns tribute & salute cards. This Is also betraying people. These foreins thought they had a good scam going. But I bet they will be back with a new card program.
