I've had this credit card for a few years now and it's been nothing but a nightmare. Were do I begin well you can't ever make a payment even if you have a statement included with your payment without putting your account number on your check or money order. I unforchantly did that one time and they credited my payment to someone elses account and then put that I was late on my credit report. I had to wait for three weeks before they found there mistake and they wanted me to make another payment over the phone and wanted to charge me for the payment and the charge was more than my payment and they would not wave the fee. I was so tied of them that I borrowed the money to pay my account of and had sent them in a payment before I had received the money to pay them of so I called to get my balence and my account number so I could make sure that it got posted to my account and to hurry and pay them off so my account didn't misteristly have extra fee's added to it. Well when I finally found a number to call them and gave them my S.S.N and D.O.B and address and mother's maiden name and zip code they refused to give me my account number even thow I closed my account months ago and no one can charge on it anyway. And after I explained how my payment got miss posted to my account they could careless. Then I asked what my balence was and payed the amount I was told called a week later to see if payment was received and it was and asked if my account was officially closed and they said no that I still had a balance of $3.35 so I asked are yousure that's it because I want this account closed once and for all and she said yes so I sent in another check. I called again following week and was told that there maybe another fee asset to my account a maintenance fee of $9.95 and they can't close intill all fees are paid so I asked are you sure that's it and sent in a $10.00 dollar check to make sure called in a few days after that to make sure it got close and they said that they received the payments and that I had a credit of $10.00 dollars so I said well you can just send that back to me since account is closed and they said they couldn't do that unless I requested it in writing. So I wrote a letter and faxed it to them and mailed it and then asked when my money would be returned and the said not for 20 days and I asked why so long they have my letter and the account is paid off and closed and they no it's a overpayment because of them telling me I needed to pay it so the right thing to do is to get my money back to me as quickly as possible. And they had no sympathy. They are the worst credit company I've dealt with and someone needs to put a stop to there abusive tactics.
