Here I am disappointed and upset by Samsung company customer service.
I bought Samsung cell phone (model SGH-t329 Series) last July. In March this year the phone set was not working without any particular reason (I never dropped, or abuse anything like that) . Since it is still under their Standard Limited Warrenty (one-year) shown in the manual. So I called customer service(1-888-987-4357) for repair (ticket number 4003293898-A03) and sent back the phone according to their instructions.
Today I got an email from the company telling me that my request was rejected. The reason is that the LED of the unit was bad and not covered by the warranty. If I want to repair they will charge me for 87.68 which is more expensive than I bought the phone last year at 68.99. Then I checked the contents of the warranty in the manual and explained the fact that it didn't mention anything like what customer service person told me.
Unfortunately the customer service won't accept my explanations at all. I think it is redicurious and not fair to deal issue with customers like that. I firmly believe warranty is warranty and the company should keep up with their warranty. I hope you can help me out for the problem. Thanks a lot.
