On January 13, 2013 I ordered three tops for my daughter from Sanctuarie Designs, totaling $123.96. I asked for rush shipping on one for the tops. I received a call on Monday the 14th, stating they could not rush ship my one top; they did not state a reason. I received a refund of $15.00 some 4 days later.
My daughter received the tops on January 20th, she tried them on and did not like the green print and the blue one was too big for her. She did like the orange one but noticed it had a stain on it but she kept it anyway. My daughter printed out
their return paperwork from their website and sent the two tops back to them.
They received the return on January 30th, she never heard anything from them. My daughter sent the manager an email asking about a refund but never got a response to her email. My daughter wore the orange shirt one time and washed it per the attached washing instructions. It shrunk so much she cannot even wear it anymore.
On February 11th, my daughter called Sanctuarie Designs and spoke to an employee who was rude from the start. My daughter asked about a refund for her tops, the employee located her return and stated they would be processing returns that week and she would see a refund then. My daughter mentioned the orange one shrinking, the employee said oh really, well I will have to talk to the manager about that, Ill call you back in a hour.
She never called back.
After not hearing anything from them for a week, I called them on February 19th and spoke to someone regarding the issue with the tops. They employee I talked to told me I would get a refund for the cloud top but not the green one because it was custom made, she would have to talk to the manager about the orange one and call me back. My daughter received a call
on her cell phone while she was at work from them stating she would see a refund for the blue one in 5 business days and an email stating how much her store credit was for on the green one. We have not received either!
After returning home that afternoon I received a call from them so I called them back and spoke to Jackie the manager,
she told me I would not get a refund on any of them because they were all custom made. (The blue one was NOT) however I stated you mean to tell me that no one is going to purchase any of those tops? She said NO. I asked her about the orange that shrank, she stated return it to them and purchase it in two or three sizes bigger so when she washes it, it will fit her. I stated why would anyone want a store credit from your store when they are not happy with your products from the start, she
just shrugged my statement off. Stating that is their return policy. When I read it stated you could return for even
not liking it!
We never mentioned the stain on the orange to them because they are refusing to do anything about any of the tops. I have done my research on this business and the better business bureau had 13 complaints on them, most of the stories are the same as mine. They keep your money, give you store credit which they know no one will ever use. They are rude; never do what they say they will.
All I want is my money back $123.96, as I had to pay shipping cost to send the two tops back to them. I have not sent them the orange one back either; how ignorant is it to suggest to a customer to return something and buy it larger so when it shrinks it will fit them?
