Sandhillshrink HP Pavilion dm-1253cl Entertainment PC Battery died abruptly - saw another post on RipOff indicating that replacement batteries died, as well. There is obviously some kind of defect in the system. Pla Internet

Battery died abruptly! No warning! Read up on this issue and found a post on RipOff that said replacement batteries died, as well. :( :(  It works great on electricity. My tech guy said it might be a defect in the computer and to contact HP - but after reading the other post, getting batteries over and over just raises the cost of the computer! Obviously there is a problem in the computer, itself.

Not sure what to do at this point, but I am contacting HP and going back toCostco, since I am still under warranty! 

I have had multiple notebooks over the years, but never had this happen so early after I bought the computer - about 10 months with less than 10 hours a week. HP should send me a model that doesn't have this issue, but you know that won't happen!!!
