Sapphirefilms, Roy Parks, III "Photographer" received a full payment but did not deliver the the photos MILFORD, Michigan

My Husband & i trusted that he would take very nice phots of our wedding well 1month befor the wedding i called with question regarding our contract & mr. Roy just went off on me speaking to me with very vogure language, we tried contacting mr.roy he never answered our calls. the week of the wedding i didnt know if i had a photographer because he wouldnt call us. my sister called smr. roy he stated to her we breached a contract which was not true. roy has our oney wont return it. changed his phone number cancelled all accounts except for Pay pal he requested that pay pal do not give out any of his information .so we have the courts looking into all the info. he also had a megan jones handeling his business so you have to take her to court also. we do have good info on mr roy......I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH HIM EVER

My husband and I had this event for our special moment.  We trusted you to capture the moments so that on days like this we would be able to look back on that wonderful day.  We're not trying to be a constant thorn in your side but you know what you promised on that contract and we paid you for that.  Again its not about the money just provide us with what you promised or show a little bit of repentance for the mistake(s) you've made.  From what I've heard and seen on this website you have a lot of loose ends to tie.  If you're really trying to clean up your mess you know this is one that has not been cleaned.  If you need help remembering the event it was November 17, 2007 Detroit Yaht Club

You tried doing this 4 years ago and took me to court for all your money back even though you got both services. Then you win a court judgment and try to sieze any assets in my name. You think just because you found a dozen other small claims cases in the past 5 years its going to make a difference. Only some of those judgments were paid and your not going to be paid.

That business was closed a long time ago and I took precautions to protect all of my assets from crooks like you that wanted nothing more than to steal your money back after services were given by me and other persons in 2006 and 2007. It makes no difference 4 years later if you post statements online I will find them and respond but it doesn't mean your going to be paid on that judgment. I'm not going to waste my time filing a civil suit against you for defamation and libel. You had the chance to resolve this dispute 4 years ago and you chose to complicate everything.

My wife and I made the unfortunate mistake of trusting Roy Parks III and Sapphire Films as well.  He provided both horrible photography and video.  He gave us a very similar sob story as what is recorded here.  We took him to court and won our case but he never sent a single dime of the judgement.  We attempted to sieze his assets but he hid them through his family.  He is a crook with a felony background.  Check out the circuit court in Novi.  He's had over 40 small claims cases filed against him and he lost almost all of them.  It is all a matter of public record.  Choose wisely.

What was your wedding date in 2007 and what did you not get from the contract you signed with me? I cannot find your file from 3 years ago so I need more details from you in order to move toward a resolution. And if you have a small claims judgment - what is the amount of that judgment? Did I shoot your wedding with another photographer? What is your current address?

I'm in the process of paying all court judgments from the last few years with the exception of 2 or 3 which are not going to resolved until I file my civil suits. But if you do have a small claims judgment I need to know the amount and which court if you want it paid this year. I will do what I can to expedite your requests if you provide the information I request in a timely manner. I can assure you that every business I owned in the last 5 years was closed and they were not tied together - not one of those businesses was connected and I have the 6th Circuit Court DBA papers to prove all of that. Some businesses were managed by other individuals and right now I have no businesses open in my name in Oakland County. If you hired a court officer to look into my financial and property records or hired a private investigator, they would verify everything I am telling you. Just provide the above information and I will see what can be done to resolve this dispute from 3 years ago.

We had a similar problem with Sapphire Photography and Roy Parks III but after posting to this website he contacted us a few days ago and we came to an understanding and agreed to report on here it was resolved.

We had a small claims judgment for $800.00 that was never paid. In summer 2007 we hired Sapphire Photography to do our wedding pictures and he sent another person because he was requested to do another wedding on short notice. But the person he sent was not very creative and my bridesmaids had to suggest shots several times outdoors after the ceremony so it was not as enjoyable or fun as it would've been if Roy was doing the service. I hired Roy when I was a bridesmaid at another weddding because I liked his photography style and the pictures were fantastic. So I booked him that night and it was a not right that he sent another person so I wanted all my money back and took him to small claims court end of 2007. I did a google search last week of Sapphire Photography and found these Ripoff Reports so I thought maybe this would help me get our judgment paid. It worked, he finally paid the judgment.

So any of you that have court judgments that were never paid in the past 3 years don't worry - Roy is willing to pay any judgment with just a few conditions. First you have to sign a binding agreement to accept the money in 3 installments and file a satisfaction of judgment at the court you filed after the installments are paid. The last condition is that you post a rebuttal on this website or update on the website you created your report or review under his name or business name that he paying your judgment and the situation is in the process of being resolved.

He prefers you contact him at roy_parksiii  at yahoo dot com but we also had the business email address so we carbon copy that just in case. I know I am not the only person with a judgment at 52-1 district court in Novi, Michigan so I understand that not every customer will find this report but to those of you that find it, please take my advice - take the above steps and get it resolved, Roy wants this to stop and will do what is required if you allow him the opportunity.

And you present yourself as a victim on this website. Its people like you that make it impossible for small businesses to survive. If you want to place blame, just look in the mirror. I never stole your money or pulled a no-show at your wedding. You had the service listed on the contract and then you demand it all the money back like I never showed and that is nothing but theft in my book. You speak of mercy but I suppose it doesn't make a difference in my situation - just take advantage of me because you had some negatives to develop but its so much easier to take me to court and get a judgment for all your money back. You've had 3 years to resolve this dispute with me through the court you filed but nope - again its so much easier to login to this website and rip my life apart and paint a nasty picture about me because its too much work to go back to court for a hearing or hire another studio to develop those negatives into prints that I never promised on the contact in the first place. I'm not hiding from you or any client that had a court judgment in the past 3 years but I have a good reason to not pay those judgments. We don't render services free of charge. And every client that signed with my old business recv'd a rock-bottom price. I gave my personal email address in the previous rebuttal - look closer - and work this out with me the proper way in the court you filed or we can meet in person and resolve this dispute even though you've not contacted me in over 2 years and this business was closed already. I'm moved on with my life and I suggest you do the same.

It's funny that the only way to contact you is through this site.  Just like all of your other "clients", a judegment can not be completed by a heartless person like you.  Believe me I have not forgot and WE never will.  I'm still that same God fearing   Woman that paid you what you requested but did not receive what was PROMISED by you.  I feel sorry for you that you have to make a living sceaming people out of their hard working money.  I pray for you and the "people" that you have working with you.  Mr. Roy Parks III , or who wver you are:) I've never been rude with you and I never will be but believe me you and whom ever is working with you WILL have to honor what you have AGAIN PROMISED every client.  I myself don't see how you sleep at night knowing that you are simply living a lie.  I pray God has mercy on you.

They signed a contract and the wedding was photographed. They recv'd a small claims judgment but never took the proper steps to collect that award. If you want to have any negatives developed - contact the Detroit Professional Photographers Association and they will provide persons that specialize in that. If you have a court judgment you have several options to collect payment through the court. You should pay a court officer to fully investigate and sieze any assets or personal property or you can hire a private investigator to locate assets, bank accounts, property.
