We purchased a villa through Savvaidis associates in 2007.We saw a lovely place advertised in one of their shop windows and went inside to ask more.

The villa was one of 110m2 and came at a price of 295,000Euro plus closing costs of 26,000,a total of 321,000 euro.Since watching the "Homes from Hell" programme on itv 1 we were very concerned as the people in the programme had bought through the same agent at roughly the same time and more worryingly was the time when we realised that we had also been given the same Lawyer,Mara Macredou!

We had paid for our property in full and our papers were being held for us by our Lawyer(Mara).We Emailed her to ask for copies of our paperwork,No Reply We mailed again and again,Still No Reply,we now were worried and decided to fly out to Rhodes to confront our Lawyer as to why she would not reply to our reasonable request.

After several requests by phone we eventually got an appointment to see her and when we arrived at their Rhodes Town offices we were greeted by both mara and now also her Father the head of this legal firm.To cut a very long story short we were refused access to OUR paperwork by one stalling tactic after another so we decided to get copies from the official offices in Rhodes town.

To our horror we find that our 110m2 villa is actually only 48m2 !!!!! We also now find that we DIDN'T pay 321,000euro,according to the Notary records we paid just 165,000!!!! 

This man is a crook of the highest order and has conned trusting customers of many millions of euros
