We had an ARM Mortgage that increased about a year ago when they all did and increased again in the beginning of the year to a total of a little over $1000.00 more a month. Our original payment was $1618.50 and is now over $2700.00 We were scrimping money together just to make our payments every month. Until I finally heard that we could get our mortgage rate adjusted. So I called my mortgage company (Saxon) and on June 2 2008 is when I filled out the financial packet and faxed in all the required information. They told us not that we should not make any payments, as they were going to be tacked onto the loan and they would only accept the full payments, nothing less. They told us that their systems were not capable of showing that an account was in loan modification, and that it was going to continue to show on our credit account. That once this was all over (they said would be 1 month) Saxon would clear up all of the negative debt. We were ok with this and proceeded with the process. On July 7th I re faxed everything in again b/c they claimed they still hadn't received what I sent in. On July 17th I re faxed again as they were still missing the information. Now keep in mind that they told me the fax # was a main # and would take up to 10 business days to get noted onto my account. During these couple of months I did speak w/ Heather Miller the girl that was supposedly handling my account she had told me that she needed a better copy of some paper work as she couldn't read it clearly and gave me her personal fax #. I told her that I would send the information that day and she told me that she would call me no later than Wednesday (it was Monday)...I tried over 5 times to fax that information to her and her fax # was not working ( I even called her to tell her that it was not working), she told me to keep trying. I tried to call her again to let her know the fax was not going through, but she never answered and I left numerous voicemails. Needless to say I have never heard from her since. During this time I would call Saxon serveral times through the week and the answers I would receive were wait for them to call you as we were not assigned. The last week of September I called back again for them to tell me that they were STILL missing the information (that I have been resending since July) and that they closed my account. I was furious as I have called a ton of times as well as practically faxed the information once a week. I couldn't understand how they could close my account, w/ at least talking to me first. At that point is when they told me that we were in forclosure and that was it. We had multiple people serve us with papers, even as far as acknowledging that we were still occuping our residence, but continued to serve our papers at our parents house and air our "dirty laundry" to our parents. I then explained the situation with the CSR and was told to resend EVERYTHING AGIAN but this time through the mail. So once again I did that the following monday on 10/6 . I called Saxon and told them that the information was in the mail and provided them w/ the tracking #. On 10/28 I faxed over the missing information from the 10/6 packet as they said they needed an updated pay stub ( I wonder why...the one in the packet was since June). On 11/3 I refaxed over the missing information again as they claim it was not recieved. On 11/7 I refaxed the information again as they still cannot find the information. On 11/10 the CSR I spoke with told me that she was escalating my call to a Supervisor and that I would receive a call w/in 72 hours. I told her that I have already done that over the summer and still have not heard back from the Supervisor. So here we are today 11/19 and I have still not heard from the CSR Supervisor. I called Saxon today to let them know that I was still waiting to hear back from someone they had me on hold for 35 minutes to tell me I was the next caller w/ a Supervisor. I wound up getting transferred to a front desk operator. Does anyone have a solution?
