We talked to person after person (some of which we were told never even worked with the company), only to not be granted any type of assistance in resolving our issue. At one point we were told that we did not "qualify" for their assistance (interest reduction, etc.) because we made $11 too little per month!?!?! The house went into foreclosure and was not sold until over a year after we were evicted. We, ultimately, had to file bankruptcy because of the foreclosure, even though the bank sold the house for less than $30,000 less than our loan amount. We were ultimately sued for over $100,000 in fees, by Saxon, for this loan.
I don't know how to fight back against such a company, but if anyone can offer advise, I would love to hear it! Why is the government willing to bail out companies with such practices?!?!?
