Schuylkill County Children and Youth Tara Mahoney, Lisa Stevens IGNORING the RIGHTS of Parents Pottsville Pennsylvania

This case is about my Great-Nephew's.  The children were taken from their mother and originally given to my sister(Paternal Grandmother). This was on a Sunday and since she had to work the next day she had asked the Fraternal Great-Grandmother to take the children for the night she had asked Children and youth if it was acceptable so she did with their permission. Come Monday Tara Mahoney asigned the Great Grandmother to keep the children. She never once considered my nephew to take his own children. 

Eventually after several complaints by my sister Tara Mahoney drug tested my sister as well as my nephew both had passed of course but again his rights were ignored as the parent and he was still not considered considered for placement. 

When the case went to court the parents both asked that the children be placed with my sister, but Tara Mahoney lied saying my sister had given the children back to their mother which did not happened,  but my sister was unable to defend herself against Tara's accusations.  This was not the first lie Tara was caught in.  Another one of Tara's reasons for her not to have the children is because she claims my sister has been hostile towards her. But she is unable to see the Grandchildren( that was at her home several times a week) and is now told she can only see the children under supervised visits. Although I had just found out the Great Uncle is able to take the children on over night stays and this is the Uncle who had the Mother getting him drugs and his wife on on Soboxin.  

I made several attempts to contact Tara Mahoney and Lisa Stevens but have not yet recieved a return call.  My family has been unable to see the children since August and are told we must be supervised by the Great Grandmother as well. My mother and I live an hour away and it is ridiculous for us to have to drive an hour only to see them for maybe an hour.

I have met the Great Grandmother only once and it was to hold my nephew into her car because he was fighting so hard to not go with her. The childrens mother has told children and youth her Great Grandfather was abusive and Great Grandmother has pyschiatric problems 

but they have ignored these complaints.  I fear for the saftey of my great nephews and am disgusted with the behavior of Schuylkill County Children and youth. 

I could go on and on about the things they have done.  I want to warn everyone who may have to deal with them. When we sat in the court room waiting for the hearing, I was shocked listening to the other case workers with the clients. These people have made mistakes but the case workers were doing nothing to help them to rejoin them with their children.  I understand they all had court appointed attorneys but they spoke with the case workers to find out what they wanted or suggesred before even speaking to their clients, the whole process was a joke. 

Lisa Stevens should be ashamed of herself to employ someone such as Tara Mahoney.  I have never witnessed such an injustice as I have with this case. Children taken from their Mother and given to a great grandmother,  while a father and grandmothers rights were completely ignored.
