I started with schwans Aug of 09 left Nov of 11 worst place i have ever worked. Started home service working what i thought would be norm hours turned into 13 plus hours worked with a person who smoked like a chimney in a truck powered by propane when reported was dismissed. A year later was foolishly suckered into a consumer brands position working longer hours in a dirty truck for a corrupt boss. i traveled 150 plus miles daily but told to put it was within my area it was not. In July of 11 i took a nasty fall in a store do to a bag of ice being dumped on the floor slipped and broke my leg i reported the injury promptly to the store and my boss i was told to wait for my boss who showed up two hours later. i also reported to him the compressor in the truck was out and food was thawing that was at 3:30 am. broke my leg at :30 am forced to work and unload a thawing truck while he was on the phone. me with broken leg i was then finally told do go ahead and report to a doctor where i was pit on work release do to injured knee pending closer look through MRI, which my boss was furious about finding i had indeed done extensive damage to my leg from repeated pounding with a broken tibia. after three months on my butt was ready to start back at work only to find out that all the stores i was to see upon returned wanted all product removed. i was thermal informed all the stores were facing the same thing i was looking at 2000 dollars negative on a two week pay period all because salaried employees dumped product and expected a commission employee to clean it up. i left i would rather care for the elderly than work for schwans.
