I fell for their scam and paid a $1.00 to check my credit score. I thought that was it, well 7 days later they deducted about $30.00 for membership. I called and heavly complained, they stated that if you dont cancel membership it then auto. Well that future is not in big, bold, upfront letters and is deceiving practice.
They emailed me and said my membership is counseled, today they emailed and said it was not,
they changed their mind. Dont know what to do. I may half to change my checking account becouse they will not close my account or refund my money. I am a proud Vet and sure did not expect to come back to this kind of treatment. If see they have done this to others, if I can get the same help and get my money refunded and account closed I will be glad to give you $10.00 of it. thank you

Ken...Stop Trolling For Your Company (& lying that it is not your company)

To the consumers who have been defrauded, YES this is illegal activity. Numerous courts, especially those within ScoreSense's "primary place of business" jurisdiction have held so-termed "hidden" terms of uses to be null on much less. Here, ScoreSense has the terms and conditions links posted in a place not readily noticeable to your reasonable consumer. Rather, they proceed by in-line linking and couching the recurring term in overbroad language that would easily be struck down. Ken, I don't know who your attorney is...but frankly, your terms and conditions are quite deficient and this is not "reasonably conspicuous notice" that $30 is coming out of the consumer's account each month. Don't waste your time replying that you have nothing to do with this company, you reply to each and every single Scoresense complaint with the same response of reposting those terms. Also, under current Texas law, this only helps somone who finally decides to sue you because it illustrates that you have been placed on notice and are aware of the deceptive practice.
Now, on to a solution. Consumers, file a complaint with the Better Business Burea.
Or, better yet, file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General here: https://www.oag.state.tx.us/forms/cpd/form.php
Hopefully everyone chooses to do this and this fraudulent misrepresentation is stopped and the company is forced to post the recurring charge on the initial webpage.
