I have been dealing with this company approximately 3 years. They like to take advantage of low income individuals because their assumption is we will not do anything about it.

Which is quite a wrong assumption because this is the third report I have turned in and the first 2 were the State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau.

What the basic scam is they sell you a "Sealy" bed.  We also bought a frame from them and then we were told it was not the right frame we had purchased. They also sell you a warranty which is basically worthless because they know what they will replace this bed with (a new bed worth nothing).

So the bed broke down and they came and took photos and deemed it worn out. They then replaced the box spring and mattress replacing it with a new one. What they do not tell you is this new box spring and mattress is lesser quality of a bed than what you originally were sold. And once again a new"warranty" comes along with that.

Then just as suspected the box spring and mattress starts to sink and act like the first one and the company was contacted. They send out 2 men one of whom can not speak English very well and another individual who laughed all the time. (Pretty funny huh) This new bed broke down in less than a year and a half. I wish I had times and had kept a log of all this foolishness.

So these 2 men come into my bedroom and they give me the creeps so I had my caregiver come in the room and listen to them as they spoke to me because they knew I was frail and I think they thought I was not going to remember any of their nonsense garbage. So he measures this bed, photographs it, and generally checked the whole mattress and box spring over. Wow guess what? Yes they are both sinking and the new mattress is stained by me because of perspiration. So they decide to send a new frame out that I had to buy plus a new  because I never got the right one. He also tells me at this meeting in order for the mattress to be returned it would help if I got it cleaned. So I called a company had them come over and sterilize and sanitize the mattress and lo and behold when they came back to see the mattress it was just too stained to return because of the sanitation laws. (Which was nonsense).

They also never sent the wheels to the new frame even though I paid for them and so they put the wheels in a envelope and mailed them to me. How is a frail arthritic woman suppose to pick this mattress and up and put these casters on it. They remain in the corner within their confines of the manila envelope.

What is sad is they take advantage of people. They lie to them. They have you do unnecessary things like sanitize a bed they refuse to take back (oh by the way that cost almost 100.00 paid by me) and they are selling products they know will break down more quickly then others. When does all this deceit end between seller and buyer.

The only thing I would like is to wake up and be able to pull myself out of my bed like normal. When I am sunk down in this hole I can't get out of it and I am in excruciating pain. I am now taking pain medications 3 X a day because of this mattress.

Could someone tell them to be fair? I just want someone to reimburse my cleaning bill, pay for the frame, and set up the frame like a normal company should have. I want the decent mattress I was told I was going to be getting and I don't want another piece of garbage.

Incidentally I live on a limited income to boot. I do not have the money these people have-and as much charity work they do for the community you would think they would make an exception to their made up little world of lies.

I am a Sealy employee in the warranty division so I know Sealy stands 100% behind ever mattress that we made. If your mattress is defected, we WILL replace it. Our motto is that we want every mattress back that is defected and we want no mattresses back that are not. Just make sure you have your receipt, because if you do not then we will not replace your mattress. Our warranty is no different than other mattress companies are claims are all handled the same. In addition, customers need to realize that comfort issues are not covered. If you picked the wrong feel whether it be too soft or too firm, its not covered under our warranty. We have less than 2% returns take that and compare it to other mattress companies.
