Sears service called for a refrig that was still under limited warranty.(had to wait one-week for service call)
Meanwhile had to throw away a food items($$$).

Service repariman shows up..by now the refrig starting cooling again BUT making a loud noise when the compresser comes on/off. Since it did not make the noise when he was there he stated he could not do anything, he did vacum for about one minute, stayed in his truck for about twenty minutes and charged $172.00. He made a claim that he could not fix the problem. I asked to speak to a manager or have someone call me...no communication, The service guy left knowing the problem had not been addressed.

Within one week I was turned over to a collection agency for the said amount. The refrig still has the bad noise and no longer cools.

I have tried to resolve this issue with "Sears" customer service and customer relations stating that this guy should not be allowed to show up and not complete the job, walk away and then allow the customer to be sent a bill for unacceptable incomplete work.

Call them up and cancel all maintance agreements or whatever they're calling them now and get your money back TODAY. DEMAND a refund check. Had MA's on 4 major appliances and after FIVE attempts to repair, lies, no shows, finally had enough and cancelled everything. If they can't or won't repair or replace it. Get your money back. On my garage door opener, he said he THOUGHT he fixed it, drives off and it does the same darn thing. They did send me the replacement part, I repaired it myself, after four tries by a "tech". The fridge guy was there at 11 PM one night. He said he was running "a little late". Don't get me started on sears.

Appliance Connection came to my home and within minutes was able to diagnoise and fix the problem. The cost to fix the problem was equlivalent to what Sears charged me for doing little to nothing and leaving with the problem still existing.
I spent hours with the Sears customer service and customer relations to acknowledge what the service rep did not do...no success. I can not believe the way the consumer is treated by these so called Sears employees...one should be ashamed.
