November 16, 2007 I called repair center washer would not spin, computer stating a F1 or F4. Repair center set up for Tuesday November 20,07 8:00 am to 12:00 Noon. Stayed home from work to meet the schedule repair. No one showed. Been on the phone with a list of different people from the repair center 1-800-469-4663. Still waiting for arrival of the repair man. Some one called from Anderson, SC, at 2:00 in the afternoon to say he would be here between 4:00 and 5:00. He asked what was the washer doing--I stated the facts that it was not spinning and the computer board was reading a F1 or 4.
He said he would call me back. Meanwhile tried to contact someone who could help me at the Sears Store I bought it from. After explaining to another 3 or 4 people what was going on I heard from a gentleman from A&E, Jim 910-547-0245. He told me this job was going to be a two man job and he would have to order parts. The repair was not going to take place until November 26th, 2007.
I finally spoke with Carol G. from the store I purchased, she told me under my warranty to go ahead and rent a unit until my washer could get fixed. I found out after to rent a washer the minimum rental was for 30 days and they would not hook up a new unit for me, also where was I suppose to put the unit to be fixed?.. I asked to speak with the general manager several times on that Tuesday.Still no call back.
Washer Still broken Promised to be fixed 1/05/08. Repair center called 2:00 friday 1/4 to reschedule due to 2 man working on Saturday.I have lots of parts here at my house yet no repairmen- I paid for in that very expensive warranty. I was on the phone for at least 6 hours and I have names of at least 12 people, that day and still no one has called me back with answers.
My wife & I have taken off 4 days of work and spent at least 12 days in the laundry mat, costing us at least 25.00 each time for washing and drying. We have spent alot of money for an over rated washer & dryer thinking this would last a life time, plus we were pursued into buying the extended warranty, again will have to take another day OFF FROM WORK hopefully to have our washer back and fixed correctly, that we were so promised on Jan. 5th, 2008. NOW again to be rescheduled. We have to say NEVER AGAIN SEARS!
YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOU FAITHFUL CUSTOMERS.
Also learn to communicate in person not recordings.
We have cancelled our credit card with you and you will no longer ever have our business again.
