Seckel Capital Dishonest and disorganized Newtown Pennsylvania

I had a horrible experience dealing with them in June this year. They are very disorganized and the staff is overworked. They don't review the application completely and wake up after weeks asking for more info. And they don't honor their rate lock guarantee prominently displayed on the website! The supervisor doesn't take the phone calls either to review problems.

In my case, they kept coming back asking for more info. Tax records, investment property mortgage, HELOCs, business that was closed over one year back, past employers, loan subordination, etc.

In the end, i was left holding the bag for home appraisal and credit check fee. They also made me cancel my HELOC and I also paid to have it registered in the county and worked with my bank to get their appraisal the paperwork.

My rate went from 2.75 to 3.125. The supervisor didn't take my call and stopped responding to email.

Think twice before dealing with them!
