Here is a little story about my experience at secret expressions salon, I had purchased a Groupon for a color and cut about 4 months ago. I went in and had explained to the stylist and the owner about the horrific experience I had at a salon a few months earlier and that if we all agreed to wait on the highlights due to the condition of my hair I had no problem with that at all. Im trying to grow it out and use all the best products in my hair to ensure its healthiness. After many months and many deep conditioners later my hair has recouped nicely. I felt it was time to do the highlights.

So on Thurs I go to the salon, now mind you I purchased another groupon becoue I wanted a heavy ombre style that the cost of the first groupon wouldnt cover. Now that is 135 total. The owner did my hair. Lets put it this way, IT WAS HORRIFIC!!! She said to me that she knew and couldnt fix it becouse she had another client coming in ( If I owned a salon I would NEVER let a client leave and look like I did ) especially that she said the next time she could fit me in was the next wed. MY HAIR WAS ORANGE W LEAPORD SPOTS. IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST HIGHLIGHT I HAVE EVER SEEN.

Not only that the damage it suffered was awful. I am not a nieve woman. I am 40 yrs old and have been getting my hair died since I was 16, I know there will be damage when you do any highlight, which I was more than willing to accept IF IT LOOKED EVEN REMOTELY GOOD. I left the salon and had to go to Sallys and get a toner, which barely helped. At least I didnt have the bright orange streak down the center of my head. Spots still there but better. So that brings the bill up to 150. So finally after 2 days of suffering to try to make it work on sunday I called the salon to have her return it to the original color and do something to try to correct the damage my hair had incurred.

My trane of thought here was you did a horrible job, now my hair will be EXACTLY THE WAY I CAME IN WITH SA HECK OF LOT MORE DAMAGE. Which as I said earlier I take care to not have that. Sleep in expensive conditioner at least 4 night s a week etc etc...I wanted her to give me a keratin treatment or give me my money back.... SHE WOULD DO NEITHER. So I go to the salon in hopes that if I show her my hair she would realise how bad it was and help. Well that isnt exactly her reaction!!!!! She told me that she wouldnt do it unless I paid for her to do it, which is rediculous.

Said it was my fault that it turned out the way it did becouse I must of lied to her about how I do my hair ( meaning that I use box dye all over my head ) which is not true. That is the point I start crying in the salon, all I wanted her to do was fix what she had done to me. Well then her response to that was SHE CALLED THE POLICE TO GET ME OUT OF THE SALON. I REPEAT SHE CALLED THE POLICE TO GET ME OUT OF THE SALON. I sat there and purposely waited for them to come.

Bout 10 min later an officer came, he did say I had to leave, which I knew, but when we got outside he pulled me aside and obvioulsly knew why I was upset ( becouse of the way my hair looked ) and told me I should report her. So long story short, THIS A HORRIFIC SALON WITH NO SENSE OF DECENCY. I had to go to sallys and buy more dye and try to fix it. That brings the total to 180. I am not a rich woman, I dont have the money to go to another salon to fix it. And more to the point I shouldnt of had to. My hair is now a reddish color (which I hate ) and have to dye it again and feels like straw. She should of done the right thing here and clearly did not. FAR FROM IT.
