Section8programs.com falsely advertised as a business that implies it's services are the same as HUD even though they are not affiliated. The website displays a window to apply for the section 8 program which was until the 27th of November. The application process asked for personal information including but not limited to credit card and address. If an unsuspecting consumer does not have a credit card the site offers a money order option. Money order address is the same as the companies address:

The websites gimmick involves targeting low income families to apply for section 8 if they are unaware it is impossible unless through the government HUD website. The website speaks of an "Section 8 and Subsidized Housing Online Packet". This so called "packet" has a list of the official government section 8 websites.
The website clearly has incriminating evidence of false advertisement. The logo states as followed Section8programs.com Providing low income grants and affordable housing opportunities" The website also has the Equal housing opportunities logo which is a copied Trademark used without permission. This illegitimate business does not offer the service of grants to low income families. Blatant false advertisement.
