In May 2010 I began to do business with Vendstar. The initial conversation I had with Steve from Vendstar we talked about how many machines I should buy. I was told that if I bought 150 machines, I would make 150,000 per year. I did not believe I would make that much, but I figured it would be okay if I made half of that. He insisted that I would make the 150,000. After buying the 150 machines I had a followup conversation with the president of the company and he explained that 150,000 was a high amount. He did feel confident that I could make 75,000-90,000 per year. They referred me to their locating company names Secure Placement. They insured me that Secure Placement was the best around. Next, I contacted Todd from Secure Placement. I was told they were giving me the best guy they had, named "Eddie". It did not take long for me to realize that Eddie from Secure Placement and Vendstar were not on the same page. Eddie started placing machines, but first asked for a extra $750 for expenses that was not part of the deal. He said it was essential for him to do the best job that he could. It took about three weeks for him to place 140 machines. First day of collecting money and servicing the machines I got back 10 of them. These companies said they expressed to Eddie that they did not need or want them. Eddie would just tell them to come on and help him out. The next day I experienced the same issues with some companies. I called Eddie and he said he would never say those things to companies or place a machine if they did not want it there. When it was said and done I ended up with fifty machines back. In dealing with my different companies, they have told me that Eddie said other things to them also. He asked companies to place the machine for a month so he could get paid. Numerous customers explained to Eddie that they did not have much traffic so that he might want to find somewhere else to place the machine. Eddie would tell them that he did not care about that, but just needed them placed. After hearing these complaints from my customers I immediately tried to get in contact with Vendstar and Secure Placement. Neither have returned my calls going on a month now. After my first collection of money I made $1200.00. The next time I collected money I collected $1000.00 Both times were not even close to the amount they told me I would be making. So now I have fifty machines in my garage and I making about $1000.00 per month, again not even close to what they told me I would make.
