I got fired from my job for Sexual Harassement and Wrongful Termination. I was treated this way for 2 years of my employment. My Site Supervisor, Mr. Allen Lane, sexual harassed me for that whole time and I reported it and the regional manager didn't do anything. He let this supervisor get our information from the Human Resource Department and the supervisor made a spread sheet out of our information and he put it out all over the company that we contracted with.
This guy felt on other women, threaten my job the whole time I was there. The regional manager told me to give my personal I.D. of all that I had to him because he was the site supervisor. I was very uncomfortable working there and everytime he will come around the desk that I worked at he will move things around and made me to where I was scared to say or do anything about it because he will threaten my job. I wish that this could it the public. I have filed a law suit concerning this matter. I was ripped of my job by the white man that don't care about us, the so-called (((REDACTED FOUL LANGUAGE)))!

A Security Company Actually DID Something about Harrassment!

A private security contractor in Texas where people actually listened and tried to do something about RACISM and....SEXISM?????!!!!!!
I think the original complaint was more in line with what I experienced at SOME places where I worked but not many because when you are a night specialist, there aren't too many people who were BRAVE enough to work where I worked and do what I do... Saw some rather bad stuff happen but when you carry a gun to work with you every night, that's how it goes...
The security company should keep those employees so busy that they don't have time to harrass anybody --and just do their job and then just go home.
And the company who uses security guards had better do the same....
An idle mind is the devil's workshop. When idiots have time to plot and schemehow they will make their co-workers' lives hell,,, then they should not be working there.
Congratulations on being able to find an attorney who would even take your case!
I think your cause is a righteous one!
I was never sexually harrassed with lewd remarks and obscene names or propositions or anything like that on any of the posts I worked BUT I had a LOT of "Hostile Work Environment" generated by YOUNG WASP males who were bored and stupid and probably has issues with women anyway and would have had regarless of their ethnicity or religion!
They made my job HELL!
Good luck in your lawsuit for those of us who did not have enough money to sue or find an attorney who was interested!

Been There, Done That

By the way, I'm also educated and don't appreciate the term "nigger". I grew up in a bad area of Houston and still hear the word being slung around like someone's just saying 'Hello' to a friend. As an African-American, you should realize that if you act like one, you'll be treated like one!
It's time to grow up, realize that you were in a bad place at that time (dealing with a real a**-hole which every company has irregardless of who, what, when, where, and so on), and take care of whatever you feel you need to do. If it's a lawsuit, so be it, but don't blame an entire company for what some of its employees think they're getting away with. It's going to come back to haunt them in the worst way, and like my Mama says "Lil' Sista, take care of your biness but be a grownup 'bout it! No whinin' now, ya heah?"
I wish you luck in the future, but would encourage you not to sue Securitas. Free and easy money is just not realistic. Every ridiculous lawsuit costs jobs and make everyone pay more for insurance, no matter whether you were involved or not.
