Security Network LLC Alarm company , wont cancel service , Internet
I had sent a letter in for cancelation on time and never heard back but assumed i was to be ended service. I run a busy life and work multiple jobs so my time gets lost sometimes. i've attempted to correct this on my own then sent this letter
in hyphens below to the better business bureau of florida where the company is located but no responses as of yet but want some media pressure please.
(The named service is a security alarm monitoring service,I used there service for 36months as our contract was assigned and agreed upon, on the end of our contract I decided due to the lack of service and poor quality that I no longer needed to use them, I submitted a letter of cancelation to the headquarters around may 2012, And at which due to my busy schedule with the City of Memphis Goverment I never thought there would be any problem with canceling, I reviewed my bank records around july and saw there was still deductions being made, I contacted the companywith questions and stating i want to cancel since i was still being billed but in my state of mind I just wanted it canceled and that all i kept telling them and telling them that I would not be in a new contract and they kept saying its auto renewed and I kept telling them I didn't sign new contract and authorize it. I even asked them why they never contacted me. I was only addressed with resistance and statements that my account had been automatically signed back up for 3 more years, I corrected them and informed them I never authorized that and they said regardless I would be paying them no matter what. this discussion had no reason because they basically state no matter what your in a contract.
at the end of our dispute I finally got my composer and state I had sent a letter and they state they didn't get it or something to that affect and it was my responsibility, I resubmitted a letter to them , I also sent a letter from there website thru an online complaint generator on there site at which i got zero response I even stated they had a letter and they wont stop billing. I froze my bank accounts and I received no other correspondence from them until this week, they called and wanted to know why they was being declined there payment, I again tried to resolve this issue and they state they will just send it to collections and get their money. the gentlemen on the phone state they have a letter but didn't receive it on time, I stated i sent them a long time ago and I was told they just auto renew me, I sent cancelation letters and tried to correct this with the company but seems like there in the business to just scam everyone, the letter trick is I am assuming that you send a letter in and they just ignore it or it is destroyed. my billing was for around 40 plus dollars a month that was auto deducted while I was letting it be done. my service was started I believe june 2009 and 1st letter to cancel was sent out in May 20012 but online letter was sent after non cancelation and resent letter went out also due to them denying getting it. the account was based in my Name.I don't want any money back from time of cancel I just want the company to end the harassment for the debt that I do not owe for service I canceled. )
I tried to remember how the conversation went but when your angry talking to a company who doesn't listen then I cant remember how it fully went and I know i should have just said I had letter sent out at beginning but I wasn't concerned about the letter I was concerned why they wasn't canceling and why they decided to keep thinking they are ok to rob from me.
