We filed for bankruptsy after 911 due to job loss. The house was not actually in it. However we have paid the bankruptsy in full and now find out the sps reported 19 months behind on payments went outside the plan and paid taxes making us paying the taxes twice. They have uped our principal amount $31,000.00 in payments they say we have not made along with penalties etc. Plus it is a interest only loan which we did not know about until the second year of bankruptsy. We have submitted proof of all payments as proof and they still say be are 19 months behind. They have now changed the credit report from 19 months to 10 months! My husband has had 2 heatattacks dealing with this, and we are still in trouble. As off October 2007 they will not except any more payments except the total amount!! We have a duplex and have an 86 year old mother in one side of which we care for. Now we want to hire an attorney but the one we spoke to said we could not afford it so I guess this is why they continue to get away with it!!
