we have a 30 year arm in which at the end of the 30 yr. mortgage we still owe $154,000 balloon pymt. we were never told until the ombudsman at sps told us. now we are trying to get a loan mod & our house is under water, but the papers they want us to sign is 3 month of payments & then they would consider a loan mod. we are scared that they will not & then we cannot save money to move somewhere else. we paid 226,000 for the house, but it's only worth about 140,000. i saw your comment on here Mr.Kinsey, can you help? thank you
