This goes back for over 10 years with this company. I have never dealt with a company like this one before. First when my step father died 10 years ago they told my mother that she had to refinance to get his name off the loan, they came back and told her that she could not have the loan in only her name that she would have to sign the house back over to them or find someone willing to sign the loan with her. ( This is where I come in) 3 years later my mom dies and once again they tell me that I have to refinace to get her name off. So i go with another loan company and not even 3 months later I get a notice in the mail that my loan has been sold ( Guess to WHO). A couple of months back I ran into some finanical problems I called SPS and spoke with someone and we was able to figure out that being close to tax season that once I got my income tax check that I would pay off my back balance. So I get my income tax check call SPS to get caught up I owe them close to $5,000 and now they want over $10,000 so i offered to send them $6,000 which is 1,000 over my past due amount but that still is not enough for them they are telling me that it is all or nothing this is with me offering to send in extra every month to get this back fee's caught up. This loan I have had for 10 years has never went down on the prinical balance speaking to a friend of mine who has a loan through them as well says that her amount never goes down.
