This shop painted my car the wrong color and Geico paid for it and both told me it was fine and looked great. This was after being told it looked as If the color used was different from the remaining color.I had a grey HHR 08 panel wagon/no windows. Someone hit me from behind at DFW airport and it was not my fault as was established by both insurance companies.I dropped off the car and picked up the rental provided by geico/Enterpirse located at Service King. The car was a black mazda r6. It was dirty inside with food trash and in the trunk too.It had 1/8 of a tank left in it and It was reserved for me 3 days prior to pick up.I dropped off my car and stated I could pick it up at the end of the week due to work schedule.I returned the following saturday morning/midday to pick up my car. It was rainy and I had to wait almost 5-10 minutes for the Enterpise guys to find someone in the office of Service King after returning my rental.I noticed the car had serious differences in color and still had paint on the reflectors/deep bumper scratches still on it from the accident. I was told that there was no one there I could speak to and would have to call back monday or during the week.I called back and scheduled an appointment for the next day to meet with the (a new Geico rep.)service king manager, geico rep. and show them why I was unhappy with the car and the work. It had a 2 yr full warranty provided at the time of completion and pick up.I showed them the differences in color and the scratches, orange peel and remaining paint from the accident.The Geico rep looked at the remaining paint and scratches and said it could be buffed out and the service king rep./manager agreed. They started to rub/scratch off the paint with their fingernails from the car and reflector.As I showed them the scratches on the bumper(under the new paint)as they were rubbing the old collission paint from the car the bumper detached from the car.I was told then they could check it while they were rebuffing it to find out why it came loose on the left side.Then the manager told me that it would take an hour or so and I could wait, I wanted the car fixed and wanted another day added for the renatl costs and for the car t be repaired properly!The geico rep, says no and the service kings rep says if the insurance is paying for it then they could do it.Considering I had/have the 2 year warranty people get with all service king. work and labor, etc for 2 yrs. color fading,etc, blah, blah........I have this story posted on the service king Reviews/website for this Irving store.I ended up getting rid off the car even though it was almost paid for and I NEVER had problems with it during my years of owning it.It was painted(at service king) a different color than the actual car and it was only a few years old or so. It was well maintained and had all maintence records since its first purchase. Not to mention a spotless carfax report.I have a few pic of it but not that show large parts for color comparison.It was the worst thing I have ever seen, I was licensed in Texas/ASE some years ago. I will not speak highly of Geico or Service king ever again!!
