I ordered three items from Sexydresses.com Two of them I kept, one of them had a pretty large hole in the seam. It's not like I expected high quality dresses from a website that sells $50 dresses and has a pretty much "no returns except in the case of defect" policy, but I wasn't expecting the roller coaster ride of lies, deceit, mistreatment, false statements and 100% THEFT that ensued. I ordered three dresses because was heading to Las Vegas for three days. Two of the items I received fromt them were shawdy but would due. However, I knew immediately, since the third dress was crap and ripped up the backside seam, that I would need another dress. I saw one other dress that was on sale for pretty cheap that I figured would due like the other two so I immediately put the order in for that dress on a Monday and returned the other dress by mail. I was leaving for Vegas in 5 days so I ordered express shipping (2-5days).
A couple days went by and I checked the order progress and surprise, there was none, I emailed asking if they had received my order- no response, I emailed again on Thursday--no response. I tried to find a number to call- of course these scam artists are not going to post their phone number. My trip to Vegas came and went, no dress, and still no response. I finally got a response from customer service (still no dress) saying she was sorry for the delay...that really didn't help the fact that I had to run out and hour before my trip to Vegas to buy a dress even though I had paid $10.95 extra for supposed "expedited shipping".
When my dress finally arrived 10days after I made the purchase, I of course, wanted to return it. I emailed and asked if I would be refunded since it did not get there in time. I received a response that said yes. I finally decided since I'm busy and the dress was only $29 that my time was worth more than going to the post office, shipping it out etc. So I emailed again and said, how about we all save time and money and you (sexydresses.com) just refund my expedited shipping since the dress shipped was 5 days over the 2-5days shipping promise (promise that I paid $10.95). The answer was a stark no. This clueless company somehow thought they lived up to their end since it actually only took 2days in the mail...BUT they sat on my order for 8 days and that wasn't part of shipping--therefore no return. THat made me pretty mad but I didn't care they could keep the money it wasn't worth a battle. It was then, that I decided to check the tracking # online on the dress I had returned- this one for $49.
Low and behold they package had arrived at sexydresses.com (said the US Postal Service) but I read on the site it could take weeks to process. I waited and waited still no return. I finally did ask them about it and of course they asked me for my tracking number- I had lost my wallet with the tracking number in it at this point and could not furnish one. OF COURSE, they had no record of my package being delivered. I KNOW, that I know, that I know they are lying I checked the tracking number weeks before, but of course when they heard I had not tracking number they conveniently had no return for me. LIARS, THEIVES, ROBBERS, CHEATERS. Sexydresses.com is a scum bag company who will rip you off at every turn and they have crappy, ripped, shawdy, poor quality products as well. Save yourself the trouble and go to Forever 21 or something, this site is crap.
