Yes, this report is over 4 years old, but this guy is still around today AND still doing the same s**t. I can't believe how stupid I feel.  You put trust in people and they just beat you down.  He told me he was divorced but he had kids.  Thank god I did not have sex with him.  I was laughing at the lady who talked about his fake teeth and how it was an acident at work, how stupid is that, he had all his teeth pulled becasue they rotted away from all the coke a cola drinking and the lack of brusing.  Disgusting.  I guess hindsight is 20/20 becasue now that I found out and think back, he's not all that good looking, just a very smooth talker.  When I confronted him, he denied everything and did not know who or what I was talking about. It's sad becasue there is someone else out there that will believe his lies.  I wish I could attach the picture he sent me so other will know.

Ladies, he is on alot of the dating websites under various names.  Screen names I know about are yea_itsjustme or crazyddsforme.  He sends emails about wanting to meet and he presses you for a picture and a face to face meeting.  If you encounter him, don't get caught up in the lies, just tell him you know all about him and move on and DON'T look back.   It's too bad the FBI or CIA or other agencies don't monitor this site. He certainly gives the USMC a bad name.

I have known Russell since I was 13 years old and I am sorry for how he believes he can continually do this over and over again. I once believed him when he said that he would be faithful once married but then his first wife came along and he never changed. The calls I received from both his wives were exactly the same who are you and why are you talking to my husband. I am now in my 40's and I still get the same calls from Russell wanting to hook up. It is crazy to think that almost 30 years have passed and he has such a way about him that even today I consider hearing him out, Knowing his wife and kids. Which he has 3 to 4 of depending on who he is talking to. 2 from when he was in Washington. Neither of which he keeps in contact, 1 he usually won't deny, the other he sometimes will say is his but usually to the mother or if the mother is around. 2 with his current wife in California. Don't let him fool you. He wants to help raise his 2 children so he won't leave her. He missed out on being a father to the kids in Washington and it is the one thing he truley wanted in life. I almost died hearing about the tux thong he has had that forever(almost 20 years). I know. Gotta laugh at that. I could go on for hours on why he is not to be trusted when it comes to relationships. Please beware he will use any method he can to get you in his web and then hurt you over and over again. If you need more information I would gladly give it.

Plain and simple. I was in the Army myself, and this is nothing new to me. When my wife and I moved to our military installation, our daughter was a year old. My wife would go on the installation with my daughter in the baby carriage. Soldiers would attempt to fraternize with her regularly, even while trying to buy groceries. When I joined the US Army, I learned quickly not to trust my neighbors.

It wasn't long before my next door neighbor (2 kids and a wife) who was 28 years old, was trying to have sex with my wife (18). Across the street, there was a couple of "swingers" that traded lovers. We went over there for an evening out, and while drinking, the man suggested it. Once this urban legend was confirmed, we avoided everyone until ETS. For civilians, that means getting out of the military and returning to civilian life.

I trust my wife, but i'm just relieved not to have these men around my family anymore. You old veterans from another era should really leave this man alone, because this is a very real issue in TODAY'S military. These temptations are anywhere you go, but the military personnel have a very SERIOUS issue disciplining themselves when it comes to married women and fraternization.

Until any of you responders that act like his claim is incorrect decide to write.. go to Fort Drum, NY. Find out the real scoop. Find out how many families are divorced, and find out how many sexual relations are going on involving married soldiers and married soldiers' spouses. Saw it with my own eyes.. Witnessed my young wife with a newborn child face it.. and if you have evidence that's better than my own eyes and life experience that proves otherwise.. then discredit him and/or me.

P.S. I'm glad someone took the time to write up one of these jack******. Wasn't even sure anyone with family morals was in the military anymore. I hope all of the men that serving and destroying their fellow soldiers and childrens lives get deployed and find an IED on the roadside.

I met Russ in 1999 and we dated till mid 2000, apparently he is the same that he was and hasn't changed. He was divorced at the time but did have multiple girlfriends which I found out later. At that time he lived in Artesia and drove a big green Dodge Ram. He had two cats and a heavy addiction to Coca Cola. That's probably why his teeth are the way they are. He smoked Marlboro's and was a wood craftsman. I knew this was the same Russ, because of the tux thong that was mentioned. I almost spit out my water that I was drinking. I knew he was going to marry the girlfriend in Riverside I believe. But he definitely was a cheater. Although unless he had children with the girlfriend, the children weren't his, they were the gf's and they were from a previous marriage. Apparently Russell has left a trail of broken hearts.

if you ever call a Marine a soldier you will be corrected. my grandfather server 23 years in the army, he is a soldier. calling a Marine a soldier is very disrespectful to us. just a warning dont ever do that again, and god help you if you say that to one of our faces we will personally take an offense to that and you will not like what happens.

Marines are Marines. Soldiers are soldiers. Soldiers are in the Army. Marines are in the Dept of the Navy.

Only someone who does NOT understand the difference would incorrectly state they are the same.

I was yet another victim to Russ Haring's charades. He started emailing my Aug 05 while in Iraq, wanting to get to know me before coming home to Oceanside in Oct 05.

Stated he had no kids, once married, but divorced for over 7 years. Said his wife lied to him after they were married and said she wasn't able to have children.

Yes, I was a fool, sent him one package. He emailed and called constantly while in Iraq, stating he received free phone cards all the time.

Once home in October, we met, dated a little, slept together (sex was so bad with him) and he ended up doing disappearing acts ALL the time; the excuse was either work, meaning "marines" or ailing family member in Washington.

It was so disgusting once, he even worn a tuxedo thong to bed once thinking it would impress me - it was nasty as hell!

I ended it in December due to his constant disappearing acts only for him to cry and say he loved me - what a lying pathetic loser!!

He even emailed me 2 weeks ago in an attempt to get back with him, I told him to move on and that he was a LOSER!

Besides the fact that he wears dentures at the age of 44 because of some work accident, but thinks because he has "fake" teeth, doesn't have to brush them!! Talk about a hygiene problem!!

....exactly how much time YOU spent "over there". I'm not defending his other actions (assuming your story is even true). Equal rights mean equal responsiblitites, and we aren't there yet. So, unless you've pulled YOUR turn on standing watch, it's really not for you to criticize anything he did over there, is it?
