2/28/13... Received email from customer service @shampooline.com verifying my order. Initially, S&H was supposed to be free-ground; however, after placing order we were charged nearly $20 for priority. We let that go. Needed the products anyway & figured it was worth a 3-day turnaround.
6 Days Later... Still no receipt from PayPal showing money was allocated & still no response from company, after mulitple attempts of emailing directly (besides automated email response that is generated immediately stating they will get back within 24hrs). They NEVER do.
NOTE: You can NEVER get a hold of them. When calling, they are ALWAYS "experiencing an unusual high volume of calls..." You are placed on hold & then automated recording comes on. You are instructed to leave a message & they will 'get back ASAP'. I tried all options: current orders to new customers to operator, to no avail. [continued below]....
..... Also, when trying to 'chat live' w/that option that pops up on their website, they are ALWAYS 'offline' during business hours.
11 Days Later... Emailed & called again, customer service directly. Left a message that I would be cancelling payment by COB the next day if there was no resolution.
Next Day (12 Days Later)... Received Payment Transaction Confirmation from PayPal for full amount. Vendor listed as PBS, w/Email: shampoofashion@aol. Then received Email from Sales@Shampooline stating:
**This is an auto-generated confirmation email...do not respond to this email. Your reply will not be received.** Thank you for your recent purchase. Your Order was shipped. Please find below tracking information of your ordered items.
(*Note: Some items might not have been shipped. Please wait till further correspondence.)
2 weeks later: Received PARTIAL order, USPS box. Packed w/about 10 Priority Mail envelopes for stuffing, w/no packing slip & no receipt. Sender was Michael Stern w/Return address listing an Apartment Number.
NOTE: Email they sent stated, "ALL ITEMS WERE SHIPPED". Then comes, (**Note: Some items might not have been shipped. Please wait till further correspondence.)" without annotating which items; Plus, all items were under the same tracking number. Very VERY shady.
3/25/13 (1 month later): Still no resolution or response. Have yet to receive ANY COMMUNICATION from anyone in the business despite numerous attempts at emailing & calling directly. They took our money for the entire order, & have yet to fulfill the order, their promise & have shown a blatant lack of integrity & disregard for both professional & personal ethics.
It does not matter if we report them to the BBB or to attempt to 'hold them accountable for their actions' if there is no true justice that prevails. Where are the professionals or lawyers, etc. who should be standing up for other people in light of what is RIGHT instead of standing up for the highest bidder? This is the essence of what is so entirely WRONG with what is happening to our country & to the people & corrupt businesses who TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT.
What is happening to America & our so called government or legal outlets that allow it to happen?Being a Marine, I'm just sickened by the sad state of people today, their weakness & the lack of values, character... In the end, what goes around truly does come around & we WILL all be held accountable... Enough said. Don't do business w/this .com.
