Shannon Clark sold me a lame horse that didn't come lame until a few days afterwards. This horse was also extremely dangerous. She claimed otherwise when trying to sell.  Shannon has exserted horrible business tack and even worse communication skills. She could use some collage classes on how to operate.

After asking around I soon found out that she has made a very bad name for herself, in the industry. I wish I would have known this before hand.

I spoke with a lady who had her horse in full training for 4 months. This lady noticed that very little change was happening. She pulled her horse and took him to a reputable trainer without saying where he had previously been. The new trainer said "this horse is green and he has learned little for being in full training, where have you had him prior?"

That is one of many stories I heard, Once I started asking around.  She is nice to real you in and puts up a front on her website. Her facility, truck and trailer are all owned by her parents, I found out.

The know it all attitude is just for show as well, she knows just enough to sell her services and sound knowledgeable but it is a HUGE SCAM.

I lost about $5,500 on her.  If you need your child to have lessons then Shannon is good at that, but just that.

DO NOT believe the fasoude that she puts up.

My advice go somewhere else.

Response to the accusation of selling a Lame Horse

AUTHOR: MrsClark - ()

In response to the accusation of selling a lame horse; I am unfamiliar with what horse this could possibly be in regards to considering at this time my son was freshly out of NICU and was barely home. I was not selling nor training nor giving lessons during this time in my life and therefore could not have possible sold anyone a lame horse. Non the less, when I sell horses all their issues, if any are disclosed, any corrective shoeing is disclosed, any special feed requirements due to pre-existing conditions of allergians are disclosed. Every buyer is given the opportunity to have each horse inspected by a certified veterinarian of their choice. If anyone would like further clarification of my buying/selling habits please feel free to email me at fabulousgypsy@aol.com

Again I state I was not selling, nor training, nor giving lessons at this time. My son was born 5 weeks early went straight into NICU and I was a very attentive first time mother at this time. My daily routine consisted of taking care of my baby, going to Dr. appointments, cleaning stalls and throwing feed. I did not even begin to ride again until March of 2013.

AUTHOR: very disappointed - ()

I too, fell victim to Shannon Clark in January of 2013 but quickly realized her "horse training" methods as well as her people skills were way below standard. My experience at her ranch, now called Fabulous Farms was a nightmare and were very similar to the complaints previously posted. Shannon does a good job teaching riding lessons to kids but in my opinion she should leave the horse training for the professionals. I wish I had read these reports before doing business with Shannon Clark.
