If you want to spend thousands of dollars for unattractive text haphazzardly placed on a page with no design esthetic, no balance that is visually appealing, a faulty shopping cart and overall dysfunctional website... AND wait 6 months full of grief and excuses for something a fifth grader could probably do then go to Shawn at Share Web Design.

We were seeking an ecommerce site.  Shawn is the sole person at Share Web Design.  He did not seem to have a ton of experience but came off as accomodating and seemed to know enough.  His prices were much lower than others so we certainly learned the lesson of... you get what you pay for.

Quickly into the process and after initial deposit it became clear that there was a significant lack of talent and knowledge on Shawns part but certainly not a lack of lazyness, excuses and attempts to nickle and dime the company.  With each passing week there was another excuse, another whiny complaint and more statements from him that did not make any sense whatsoever.  

He went thru person after person at the company stating he refused to speak or work with one after the other. The company is filled with award winning, amazing talent and leaders who have never experienced a personality such as Shawns before and were shocked.  After each would kindly and politely call him on his lack of delivery and excuses he would simply call them unprofessional and hold the site hostage stating he would not deal with them and the site was halted unter further notice.

It was the most immature and rediculous behavior anyone had ever experienced.  Executives in the company went as far as to call him "mental" and "dangerous".  After about two months we realized he was in it to scam the company but we had already paid half the money so figured he has issues and is clearly immoral but certainly he would, at the very least, deliver a working and justified site as requested.  We had no choice at that time and did not want to lose our URL name.  We were stuck and tried to make the best and tip toe around his frankly, psychotic behavior.  

Six months later in total one draft was delivered.  ONE!  It was unattractive, unappealing and lacked all design elements that were clearly requested.  He was respectfully and kindly asked to redo pages on the site with specifics given and he blankly refused and said he would need more money!!!  In an effort to just be done and away from him he was paid off and all were grateful to just have him out of the picture although it was a grave loss of time and money.  We then had to immediately hire someone else to fix his mess.  As mentioned, we did not want to lose the business URL so we were left with no choice to wait it out and then attempt to alter what he started.

Upon receipt of the site it was quickly realized that the back end did not work.  Nothing would place in the cart.  Thus, regardless of how ugly and lacking the design of the site was it was not even functional.  He also failed to deliver proof of the purchase of requested items and plug ins.  The new hire informed us that the site was uniquely, strangely and poorly coded and needed information from Shawn to make the site work as well as change the layout or else would have to start from scratch.

Upon being contacted assuming he would give at least some direction since he was paid thousands of dollars for basically nothing... he refused to assist in any manner.  His ongoing pattern is to simply becomes defensive with statements that make no sense and when this is pointed out his excuse was always to whine and call someone unprofessional and refuse to speak to them.  This happened over and over until it became comical and utterly rediculous.

The only unprofessional person in the whole scenerio is Shawn in his living room of Share Web Design.  Clearly he projects his faults and lack of talent and utter lack of decency onto others in an effort to avoid taking a good look at himself AND in an effort for easy money for no work.  He should certainly feel ashamed but sadly, some people don't have a conscience and are only out to make a buck.  Any Web Professional that saw the site and learned it took 6 months and thousands were shocked and apalled.  It is clear to all that this is a scam artist who has manipulated and maneuvered in the past and present.  

We take the time to write this so no other individual or company is taken advantage of by such an immoral and unhealthy, sad individual.  Being that he is fairly inexperienced except for some sites of his friends and familys we did not have alot to go on and wish there was more we could have researched to avoid such hardship. There are thousands of web designers out there and Shawn at sharewebdesign.com is not even close to being called a designer.  Possibly a coder maybe, yet a very bad one at that.

Choose wisely for once you are into the process it is very hard to get out without great loss of time and money! We learned the hard way!
