Sharlet Grier Models is a scam run by Silka Sosa. She is classless, unprofessional, unethical in her business practices. She has scammed more than one model and needs an end to be put to her mischief. Mother and boutique agencies are in charge of making the proper investments to develop their models. None of which Silka Sosa does at Sharlet Grier Models.



She sends her models out to castings without proper books and compcards. Printing a sheet off a computer and calling it a compcard does not cut it. And when she does send them to castings its to crappy low end clients.



If you work for her you will never get paid and see your money ever again. She signs models left and right in hopes of being a commission moocher and make quick money. Which will never happen because you have to take care of your investments. None of which she does.



If you book a photoshoot through her she will keep your money and you will never be able to book the supposed photo shoot. Agencies are supposed to provide free or low cost shoots to develop model books. If a model pays out of pocket she must pay the photographer directly.



She does not have a NYS Business License to operate which is illegal in the state of New York.



In addition to this if you get on her bad side she will be unprofessional and childish and sabotage your relationship with other agencies. Most of the placements and claims on her websites are not of her doing. All of the models worked hard to book with other agencies and book top jobs before she was ever in the picture. She takes credit for things she did not accomplish.



She frequently changes her name, (Aliases include Silka Sosa, Silka Craighead, Silka Wingate) and website address (sharletgriermodels.com, sharletgrier.net, sharletgrier.co) to keep a clean trail on her scamming business. That way you google or do research it won't come up or you won't see previous bad reviews. In addition to this she also frequently changes location and phone number. Stable agencies do not change their name, phone number and location as frequently as this woman does.



She also claimed to do PR work at Betsey Johnson, do you think that a high end house of fashion would hire a ghetto ethnic person who doesn't know how to spell to represent them? I didn't think so....
