I had to make several calls to Shaver in order to receive the required paperwork needed for aforementioned rebate. They kept insisting that we had to come to their office and sign the paperwork, even though I insisted that it was no longer a 20 minute drive down the freeway from our old address!!! We finally received both forms at the end of Nov, and sent each to their respective companies, one in San Diego, and one in Texas.
In Feburary 2009, I called the co in San Diego to inquire about our rebate. I was told that a check was sent to Shaver in Dec 2008, they had cashed it, and unfortunately was no longer in business. Assuming the same thing must have happened with co in Texas, as we have not gotten that check either, do we have any recourse??? After all, it was OUR money. The phone# listed on their website connects to a dealer in Ontario, who pretends to not have a clue as to the San Bernardino site.
