Dec 6, 2013 I had told them of my uncertainty and they assured me they were legit, I purchased 2 iPod touch 5th Gen 32 GB, one pink, one blue...the prices of the iPods were to be $110USD and Shipping was $20USD, so my total was $240USD to be western union...I asked about visa and they didn't take it, which kinda sent off red flags, but they assured me nothing was to fear... So I went to Western Union and sent them funds, came home and sent him the MTCN# he said he needed...I was informed the next day Dec 7th they had been shipped and would be in Canada at my door in 5 days...9days after being shipped I received an email stating Customs had just reached them about my parcel and that I needed to western union them $100USD for Customs Duty, I was told I had 7 days to wester union the money to again this HankFoxconn..same info as before or Customs are going to destroy my items. I then became skeptical and refused to send the extra $$...but told him he could pay the $100USD as I in good faith sent him his $240USD and when I get the iPods, I will be the honest person I am and send him his $100USD if he had proof by customs that he actually had to pay it...he refuses and says my time is running out...it's now been 2 days since I was given 7 days...I'm devastated, I explained these were presents for my 6 and 10 year old daughters and I don't know how to tell them I lost our money stupidly falling for a con... :( I'm still communicating with them at the moment trying to get my money back, which they are refusing....or the iPods! I've written the China Customs and forwarded every email between us...I have every email from both ends, I have my western union receipts and the text that he picked up his money from the western union... I have all emails sent to Customs and I have pics of his website...his address, phone number, I found the REAL company website for a legit company called Foxconn...I don't know what to do...I need to buy my daughters something for Christmas but I just payed pretty close to $300CAD for nothing in return.. so disappointed in myself!
