Stay away from Shipley Energy. We hired them to install a furnace and hot water heater in our rental unit. There was a disputed amount in the bill. We paid everything else and also paid for propane fuel. Shipley put a credit hold on our account without telling us. Cut off delivery and let my tenants runout of heat. When we called for emergency service, which we were charged a penalty for, we were held hostage by the driver until we were forced to pay the disputed amount. The customer service people, managers and particularly Dan Senft, were very dishonest and unwilling to be reasonable. We are switching companies and hope to be done with Shipley forever. Please for your sake, do not use them. They are untrustworthy and see you only as a source of cash they hope to drain.

We at Shipley Energy did everything in our power to resolve this matter. After repeated attempts to collect an outstanding debt, the customer's continued refusal to pay an installation invoice did cause us to place them on credit hold to stop additional deliveries.

We do everything in our power to work with customers and avoid placing them on credit hold, but at times must do so to protect ourselves and our other customers. We stand behind the actions of our customer care team.
