On March 11, 2009 I paid $500 to this individual for a sprint car rear end. My payment has been cashed and I have no race car part to speak of. He says he has shipped the part, but we have yet to see it. He can not seem to provide us with the shipping company name nor a tracking number. The company name that he originally threw out has confirmed that they have not sent a part to us. (But he does assure us that it has been sent.) We asked him to refund our money since he could not get the part to us in the manner that he originally offerred. Now if this part does ever show up we will have to pay an additional $100+ for it! And since he would not give us the shipping information, I called the sherriff's department in his neck of the woods. A deputy tracked him down and got the same run around that we did. "I sent it out. Yes, I have a tracking number. No, not with me. Yes, I'll get the information to them." Let's just say "yeah, right!" Still no part, still no tracking information, just a police report with his name attached to it.. And now he refuses to return phone calls or emails. He has insulted us by calling us fools and is threatening that "slander has consequences." So be wary when doing business like this; it's easy to get screwed and it's time consuming and irritating to try to re-coup your payment. But being honest and letting the world know how this business has treated us is just one step in the right direction...
