I recently went on eBay a few weeks ago with my son. I left the room for about 5 minutes and when I returned, he somehow had placed a bid on an engagement ring on the site. Weirdly enough, the bid was only for $100. I thought to myself, "What kind of engagement ring goes for $100?" The seller on eBay has a "real" jewelry store based out of New York and claimed in the profile that the ring was brand new. Once again, I though to myself, "What kind of 1.6 carat diamond ring goes for $100?" It was very fishy. That is beside the point. I immediately contacted the seller and told him what had happened. Around this time, I took a closer look at the profile for the ring. IT WAS A FAKE RING! He was selling counterfeit jewelry online and cheating people by saying that they were real diamonds! He sent an agreement saying he would not negatively effect my eBay rating and would forgive the mistake. A few days passed and I decided to browse eBay only to find that I had a negative report on eBay. The exact words from the seller were: "NON PAYING BIDDER WAS NOT EVEN DECENT TO RESPOND TO ANY EMAILS." I still have the email he sent with the agreement we both made. I then retaliated with some angry comments that maybe I shouldn't have said saying that he lied and cheated me. In all honesty, he did though. I then apologized for my remarks and told him that I would just drop it. He then proceeded to post further rude comments about me saying: "Deadbeat Bidder, these people cost everyone extra $$$" I then, had enough. I wrote to him saying how irritated I was that he could do something so dishonest and rude. He then wrote an array of nasty emails to me. He also said that he would charge me 10% of everything because I "ruined" his posting. He then threatened to call my cell, my house, and my work only to harass me. I stated to him that if he did, he would be in direct violation of FDCPA and FCC laws. I even gave him fair warning! He proceeded to contact me and continued to threaten me and insult me. He has threatened me, has called me all kinds of nasty remarks ("Low class n**i"???), has lied to me numerous times, has cheated numerous people by selling them FAKE jewelry, tried to cheat me, and has done many more disgusting things to me and obviously other people. I advise anybody and everybody to stay away from this company and especially John. Most recently, he has threatened my life which I have proof of in a recent email. If you want to be cheated and lied to and be sold fake jewelry, contact Good Guys Jewelry! They are masters of deceit and will do everything they can to STEAL your money and you dignity! I am absolutely appalled that these people are in business! Anybody that can do this and get away with it without a care in the world deserves to rot in hell!
